5 stars – This was my first gym and I am glad I have returned to the area. I love the down to earth feel and friendly environment. I can got to the gym to just work out and yet feel that I am surrounded by friends.

I have been to All Star Fitness and Park Point gyms and while they were more “luxurious,” I felt like I was surrounded by snobs the whole time.

So there may not be a private television screen on every single machine, but the machines always work unlike the high-tech ones at other gyms.

I had a personal trainer here years ago and he seriously got me into shape. I’d meet with him once a week for a reasonable price (about $33 a session) and by the end of the workout I could barely lift my dinner fork.

The classes are great too. Zumba is modified based on the different bodies in the room during a given class. I’m not the type to go to the gym just to talk to people, but who says you have to shove ear buds in and stare ahead at a mini tv every time you work out?

If you want working out to be both enjoyable and productive, look no further! ?

5 stars –I enjoy going to this gym. After an injury, my doctor suggested swimming and gentle arm movement, so I joined (paid the first and last) and have been swimming several times. I have only once had to wait for a lane to open up, usually it is not crowded. When I choose not to swim, there is a little upstairs work out room that is perfect for me, all the equipment that I could want (and some that I have no idea how to use). I did not find this gym to be stinky or dirty like some of the other reviewers – it is just not new, but it suits my needs just fine.

5 stars –I love Energy Health Club, my only complaint is that there aren’t enough locations. They have a good amount of high end equipment, helpful staff, and a pool and sauna. Normally, public pools kind of freak me out, but judging by how well they keep the rest of the gym clean, I have a feeling that they put the same effort into keeping their pool, sauna, and steam room just as clean. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about Energy, but I’m not very high maintenance when it comes working out.

5 stars –I’m soo glad I found this place! I grew up working out in a family owned gym in my hometown and I have missed that friendly, inviting atmosphere since I moved to the area for school. This place has everything you need. A plethora of free-weights, machines, cardio equipment, kettle bells, trx bands, women’s area, stretching area, numerous classes, hot tub, sauna (steam and dry) and pool. -What more could you need? Friendly staff, and awesome juice bar is a huge bonus too!

Glad I was able to cancel over at Planet Fattness and support local (for only $10 more!)! I won’t be going back anytime soon!

5 stars –Speaking from the perspective of a past sponsored athlete, (and on behalf of the other athletes and serious gym-goers at Energy Health Clubs) I’ve been a satisfied member of this place for a long time, and will continue to be as long as I live in the area. Here’s why:

1. They have great hours.
2. They have a helpful, down-to-earth staff.
3. They don’t bug me to buy their stuff.
4. They have top-notch equipment.
5. It’s a local business and tries to help our local athletes, etc..
6. (AND MOST IMPORTANTLY) They have the right mixture of what it takes to actually get the body I want.

I know there are gyms out there that are newer, bigger, etc–but I don’t go to a gym because it looks good (which this gym does). I go to a gym because I care more about ME wanting to look good, feel good, and perform well. Energy Health Clubs gives me that, because it has the right floor layout which doesn’t make me feel like I’m working out in a Costco, it has tons of hand-selected equipment that target the muscles I’m trying to work, and this gym doesn’t break the bank like the other gyms out there that charge three times as much money. That means I can A: spend more time in the gym because I feel more comfortable there. B: I can work my body more efficiently because the machines and equipment were selected BY Athletes and fitness professionals. And C: I can save money and use it to invest in gym clothes, gear, and in my diet and nutritional needs ( Diet is 80% of the effort to get in shape).

The result is me both looking and feeling the best I can, and that’s why I love this gym. Bottom line–this gym gives me what I need to actually get something out of being a member at a gym.

5 stars –I love my health club.  I have been a member since 1996  I believe.  There are plenty of machines so I never have to wait for one or sign up to use one.  I am a short person and at other clubs I could not get the equipment to fit me.  Here, it’s easy to adjust all the machines to fit me.  The people on duty are always friendly and helpful.  The restrooms, showers, and all other areas are clean and well cared for.  I like the idea of supporting local businesses and this gym is locally owned and operated.  The locals care a lot more about their clients and I find them to be more responsive to us.  I am enjoying the health tips that are written on the white board.  Keep up the good work!

5 stars – Great gym, great price, and great people!

Some of you know me as Tyler Reks from WWE’s Monday Night RAW and NXT shows. Well, this is my home gym and I love it. I tried Planet Fitness and they all just treated me with disgust since I’m bigger than their average member. I believe they call me a “lunk”. After a terrible experience there, I found Energy Health Clubs and they gave me a great rate and accept me for the meathead I am ?

Seriously, the staff is really nice and everyone at the club (members and staff) is really friendly. They’ve been in business for 21 years and there’s a reason for it. The place if family oriented and they have TONS of group classes, lots of cardio equipment, and a great selection of weights – which is perfect for me.

Two thumbs up from T-Reks!

5 stars – I joined the 21st Century Health Club (now Energy Health Clubs) in Cotati a year and a half before it was ever built, primarily because when finished it would be only a mile from our home. It was finally up, and my husband and I have been coming here ever since and appreciate the relaxed atmosphere.

Attending my favorite classes, I have learned much more about muscle structure and the proper form to use when performing a variety of exercises in order to achieve maximum results; and, I have made some nice friends here among the management, staff and fellow club members.

The club offers a range of challenging classes for both men and women, from spin cycle, core fitness and step, to swimming, yoga and Zumba. The managers stay up with the latest in exercise equipment. Plus, they have a 25 yard pool with high, curved-beam ceiling and lots of natural light from the skylights above! Included on deck is a shower, sauna and steam room. Adjacent is a large showering and dressing area with lockers, a separate bathroom with sinks in a long counter, and hair dryers!

Parents with little ones will appreciate the secure inside/outside child care area complete with changing crib, toys, baby jumper chairs and a loving staff.

What I like best, upon entering the club is its openness, the light and airy surroundings and the friendly staff behind the spacious rounded counter. They even have a Juice Bar and Lounge area with tables and stools for eating, reading, or watching one of four TVs, next to huge windows that overlook the pool.

I have used only two other health clubs in the past. But, with all these fine qualities and amenities, l see no reason to look elsewhere for a truly down home and welcoming health club where several professional athletes work out as well.
What’s more, with the compliments I often receive on my health and strength,
I’m living proof that working out here really helps me stay fit and happy!
